Sony Xperia S is the premium smartphone.  The phone is a 4.3" LED back-lit capacitive touch screen.  The phone’s OS is Android 2.3 Gingerbread.  It is powered by a 1.5GHz Dual Core smartphone with 1 GB RAM.

·         Camera and Multimedia

Sony Xperia S has 12MP camera with auto focus and LED flash light. The camera has the features such as Geo tagging, auto face, smile detection, touch focus for high quality pictures. The camera also takes 3D panoramic pictures and comes with image stabilization. The phone supports audio formats : MP3, eAAC+, WMA and WAV and video formats: MP4, H.263, H.264 and WMV.

·         Connectivity

Sony Xperia S runs on quad band 2G and quad band 3G networks.  The phone connects to the internet using GPRS, EDGE, and Wifi.  The phone also has Bluetooth v2.1, Micro USB v2.0 and NFC to cater to other connectivity.

·         Battery and Storage

Sony Xperia S has a 1750 mAh standard Li-Ion battery that can provide a talk time of up to 7 hrs and 30 min in 3G and up to 8 hrs and 30 min in 2G networks.  The phone comes with 32 GB of internal memory and it cannot expand with SD cards.
